CVP Kids
Kids are a priority for Jesus, and we believe the same thing. We want to see the children at CVP grow into a vibrant, whole-person knowledge of God and be formed into heart-felt worshippers. We offer Nursery for ages 0-3 during the whole service and Children’s Church for ages 4-6 during the sermon. Activity packets are also available for older kids as they learn to be active worshippers.
Sunday School for children and youth of all ages is offered during the Spring and Fall quarters at 9:00am before the worship service.
We hold the protection of our kids as a high priority. All of our children’s volunteers have undergone a screening process and completed background checks.
Men’s and Women’s Ministries
Men and women both have opportunities to connect with one another throughout the week. Men’s and Women’s Connect groups meet twice a month, gathering to discuss the latest sermon and pray with one another.
Community Groups
Although worshipping together is the center of life at CVP, real fellowship is experienced outside the church walls and with one another. Community Groups meet twice a month (usually on Sunday evenings) with a small group gathering together in a home. They share table fellowship together around a meal, then participate in a study together.
Groups are truly cross-generational, as people of all ages and walks of life have much to share with each other. If you’re interested in joining a group, contact us at info@cvpchurch.com.
Serving Our Community
The church is a worshipping community, yet we’re also called to love our neighbors and serve our local community. As people who have been served by the Lord Jesus Christ who came as a servant and has loved us, we seek to do the same in Newberg.
Our deacons offer physical and financial help to those with needs. We also partner with the following ministries to care for Newberg and Yamhill County:
Serving Our World
Jesus called his church to make disciples of all nations, both near and far. We partner with missionaries and ministries who serve the needy and bring the good news of the gospel to people near and far:
